Yes. Historic restoration is one of our core specialties. We have extensive experience restoring waterfront camps, late-1800s homes, and buildings with structural challenges. We preserve character while rebuilding for decades of coastal durability.

Can you build on remote or hard-to-access sites?

Absolutely. We regularly take on projects that other contractors decline — island builds requiring ferry logistics, waterfront sites with no equipment access, and steep terrain where everything must be carried by hand. We plan thoroughly and execute carefully.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, Oceanside Carpentry & Caretaking LLC is fully licensed and insured in the state of Maine. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage.
